What is a Cadet?
Danbury Police Cadets is a para-military program for young individuals interested in pursuing law enforcement careers and leadership opportunities. It emphasizes hands-on training, discipline, and mentorship, provided by experienced officers, advisors, and Cadet leaders. Cadets participate in simulations, community service, and law enforcement-related competitions that build skills in leadership, teamwork, and critical decision-making. The program is designed to give cadets insight into the field, develop their character, and foster a strong commitment to public safety and community service. Cadets are held to the highest standard both in the program and in the community.
